Boardwalk Solitaire Games

Games of Luck Versus Skill

Boardwalk games introduce "columns" and "hands"; each receiving 4 cards on the deal. The number of columns and hands vary from one Boardwalk variation to the next, but there will always be a total of 13. In all variations, at the end of a perfect game each column and hand will hold 4-of-a-kind, by face-value. During the course of the game, the player defines the arrangement of the face-values in accordance with a few rules.

The game program can be used to play the four solitaire variations (on Windows), and provides random deals.

Hopscotch is the fundamental variation upon which all other variations are built. There is an animated demonstration here of how to play Hopscotch that uses MS PowerPoint. If you don't have PowerPoint, then you can download the Power Point Viewer to see it.
